Kilimanjaro national park, Tanzania
A two-day Kilimanjaro hike along the Marangu route offers an accessible and convenient option for hikers seeking an engaging yet non-ascendancy-oriented adventure, catering specifically to individuals interested in experiencing the beauty of Kilimanjaro without reaching its summit.
Day 1: Ascending from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
On Day 1, after breakfast, you will be picked up by a professional driver who will transport you to Marangu Gate, situated on the eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the park entrance, a knowledgeable guide will conduct initial registration procedures. Following this, you will begin your ascent towards Mandara, traversing lush forests en route. As you approach the Mandara area, you will encounter numerous species of birds such as Colobus monkeys and Blue Monkeys, along with other fascinating wildlife elements. You will pause midway during the journey for lunch before continuing onward to Mandara.
Upon reaching Mandara, you will experience panoramic views stretching across Mawenzi Peak and Kibo Mountain. A brief inspection of these breathtaking vistas will provide ample opportunity to capture photographs. Afterwards, you will proceed to descend back to Mandara Hut for a meal. Your final destination for the evening will be Mandara Hut itself.

Day 2: Descending from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut and Back to Marangu Gate
