Day 1: Departure from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, commence your journey to Mikumi National Park. Your transfer to the park commences approximately six hours later via a four-wheel-drive vehicle. During this period, expect a mix of scenic landscapes as well as wildlife sightings such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, and various other creatures. Lunch will be served at a restaurant located in Morogoro Town, followed by an overnight stay at Mikumi Lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive within Mikumi National Park
The morning begins early in the day, with guests departing for a morning game drive at 06:00 AM. This excursion offers an opportunity to observe an array of bird species and animals, including giraffes, zebras, lions, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, and elands. Upon returning to your accommodation for breakfast, engage in a brief afternoon game drive along the same route to retrace your steps back to Dar es Salaam. Departures typically conclude between 18:30 PM and 19:00 PM, allowing ample time for transfers back to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
