Kenya, Kenya

Zazu tours and safaris

Experience an unforgettable and remarkable safari adventure in the scenic Maasai Mara region, ensuring affordability while maintaining exceptional quality of service.

The safari commences upon pickup from Nairobi and concludes in Nairobi unless clients advise otherwise. Clients may discuss potential modifications or additional costs related thereto.

The safari itinerary involves transportation in a Safari Van and accommodation in a tented camp equipped with ensuite facilities including bathrooms, flush toilets, and beds. The safari location is situated in the Mara region, renowned for its significant wildlife events such as the Great Migration, wherein millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate annually from the Serengeti in search of water and grazing grounds.

On Day 1, guests begin their journey by boarding a vehicle at Nairobi's Westland area and proceed to the Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. Upon arrival, they enjoy a welcome lunch before settling into their tented camp. During the afternoon, participants engage in a guided game viewing activity, focusing on spotting the Big Five and other notable species like hippos and Nile crocodiles. Evening activities include a sumptuous buffet dinner followed by restful accommodations at Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar establishment.

For Day 2, guests embark on a full-day excursion to Maasai Mara National Reserve, starting their day at 6:30 AM with a hearty breakfast. They set off early in the morning to explore the reserve's expansive landscapes, aiming to observe the Big Five, hippos, and Nile crocodiles throughout the day. Post-lunch break, visitors venture outdoors to dine beneath the shade of crotone trees, admiring the panoramic views of the Mara region.

The highlight of Day 3 lies in concluding the safari experience, beginning with a light breakfast and departure towards Nairobi. Optional visits to Maasai villages can also be arranged at an extra charge; upon reaching Nairobi, guests are dropped off at their original location, marking the completion of the tour.
