From Marrakech 3-Day Sahara Tour to Merzouga w/ Accomodation

Explore a 3-day itinerary through southern Morocco starting with Marrakech. Experience a desert stay in the Sahara, marvel at the historical villages of Ait Ben Haddou, and admire the breathtaking beauty of the Valley of the Roses. On our shared three-day desert tour departing from Marrakech, we commence our journey by traversing the Tizi Ntichka pass and ascending into the majestic high Atlas Mountains. This scenic route offers numerous opportunities to explore charming Berber settlements such as Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, renowned for its stunning architecture and featured prominently in several Hollywood films.

Following this, we proceed to Ouarzazate and visit the historic Kasbah Taourirte, offering panoramic views over the surrounding region. We then venture to the picturesque Valley of the Roses, known for its vibrant wildflowers, before reaching our accommodation in the enchanting town of Tinghir.

In the evening, after enjoying a sumptuous dinner at our hotel in Tinghir, we embark on a captivating drive through the valley of roses, eventually arriving at the iconic Todra Gorge. Here, we pause for a delightful picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery.

Continuing our adventure, we make our way to Erfoud, a bustling oasis city celebrated for its rich date palm groves and historical significance as a hub for ancient trade routes across the Sahara Desert. Our day concludes with a thrilling camel ride through the rugged terrain of the Erg Chebbi dunes, accompanied by the mesmerizing hues of twilight as the sun sets behind the distant horizon.

The final day of our tour begins with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a return journey to Marrakech. Along the way, we traverse the historic high Atlas Mountains and witness the beautiful Valley of the Roses once more before concluding our desert exploration in the capital city of Morocco.
