4-Day Highlights of Zhangjiajie With Sunrise Experience

Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie

Upon arrival at either Zhangjiajie Airport or Train Station, your driver will greet you with a personalized welcome sign bearing your name. Following this, they will transport you to your designated accommodation in Zhangjiajie City. During your free time, you may relax as desired.

Day 2: Exploration of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Part A)

In the morning, your guide will arrive promptly at 8:30 AM. They will commence your journey to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park via the southern entrance, ensuring that you avoid the peak-season crowd. Upon entering the park, you will traverse the Golden Whip Grand Canyon. Subsequently, you will ascend the world’s tallest sightseeing elevator, also known as the Bailong Elevator, to Yuanjiajie Area, offering panoramic views of the Sandstone Peak Forest, the backdrop for the Avatar movie scenes.

Following this, you will continue to Kongzhong Tianyuan, a photographer's paradise located amidst the dense forests. This site is rarely visited due to its secluded nature, making it ideal for photography enthusiasts. Upon reaching this location, you will discover the "Sky Field Garden," a serene agricultural area within the park, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle.

You will spend the night in a locally owned homestay hotel, enjoying breakfast included. Your itinerary concludes with a delightful dinner.

Day 3: Tianzi Mountain and Ten Mile Gallery

Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to witness a sunrise during your exploration of Tianzi Mountain. Should conditions not allow for a sunrise, please understand that this event cannot be guaranteed.

Embarking on the park shuttle bus, you will admire the expansive landscape of the Avatar World. Today offers ample opportunities for independent exploration of Tianzi Mountain.

Optionally, during the afternoon, you may choose between exploring the Sandstone Painting Gallery or visiting the Glass Bridge (entrance fee: 219 RMB per person).

On Day 4: Departure from Zhangjiajie

The day concludes with an enjoyable adventure on Tianmen Mountain. After ascending the world's longest cable car to the summit, you will embark on a thrilling journey down the world's longest escalator to Tianmen Cave. From here, you will board a scenic bus ride down to the foot of Tianmen Mountain, accompanied by stunning vistas.

Your tour ends with a visit to the Junsheng Sandstone Gallery before being transported back to your original departure point. Alternatively, if preferred, you may return to Zhangjiajie Airport or Train Station.
