Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport, Uganda
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you are met by a Gilead Summit representative and transferred to your tranquil hotel fronting Africa’s largest lake, Victoria. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Overnight at Hotel No.5 (Bed and Breakfast)

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning pickup at 6:00 am from your hotel and transfer to Entebbe Airport (15 minutes) for a scheduled flight to Kihiihi airstrip and transfer to your accommodation in the mist-swathed mountains of the park, enjoying some time at leisure. Later, visit a nursing school supported by visitors’ Philanthropy.
Overnight at Mahogany Springs (FB + non-premium brand drinks)

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking, a lifetime encounter
Today, trek through the park’s dense vegetation, travelling up and down its steep slopes in search of the resident mountain gorillas. Your guides use their experience, knowledge of the gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate them, once the mountain gorillas are spotted, observe their subtle interactions, remarkable behaviours closely resembling our own.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Parting Glimpse
Today, enjoy another opportunity to seek out Bwindi’s majestic mountain gorillas. Return at the end of the trek and enjoy your last evening in the community.

Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a scenic flight from Kihihi airstrip back to Entebbe, where a reserved dayroom at Hotel No. 5 waits for you. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
