Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our dedicated driver/guide will promptly pick you up and proceed to your accommodation, the Boma Hotel Entebbe (B&B). Your journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Day 2: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your guide/driver will meet you at your hotel at 7:00 AM. Following this, we'll travel to Mbarara, where we'll make a brief stopover at the Equator Crossing for photography opportunities. Afterward, we'll head to Agip Motel Mbarara for lunch. Proceeding onward, we'll reach Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. This park is the second-largest national park in the country, situated near Lake Edward and Lake George, connected by the Kazinga Channel. Known for its diverse wildlife, Queen Elizabeth N.P boasts an impressive number of 5,000 hippos, 2,500 elephants, and over 10,000 buffalo. Our afternoon game drive focuses on spotting tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Trip in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Starting with breakfast, we'll embark on a dawn morning game drive. The early morning offers optimal conditions for observing wildlife due to the activity levels among the African animal kingdom. Highlights include seeing elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, leopards, Ugandan Kob, warthogs, birds, and primates. Post-lunch, we'll take a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its vast array of aquatic life including massive hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking
In the morning, we'll undertake a habituated chimpanzee trekking expedition through Kyambura Gorge. In the afternoon, we'll engage in nature walks, offering insights into the local flora and fauna.
Day 5: Return to Kampala
The day concludes with a return to Kampala. We'll end our journey at Agip Motel Mbarara for lunch, followed by a short visit to the Equator Crossing and Mpambire Drummakers for a memorable photo opportunity. Finally, we'll transfer to Entebbe for your evening flight back home.
