Upon arrival at Marangu Gate for the pick-up drive, participants undergo registration before embarking on their ascent through the rainforest. Accompanied by our experienced team throughout the journey, guests enjoy overnight accommodations in rustic huts located along the trail.

Arrival in Arusha or Moshi:
- Guests arrive at the designated airport or railway station.
- Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their accommodations located in Arusha or Moshi.
- An orientation session and equipment inspection will be conducted prior to departure.

Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut:
- Following breakfast, guests proceed to the Marangu Gate, serving as the starting point for the Marangu Route.
- Formal entry procedures are completed upon arrival at the gate.
- Guests embark on their trek through the lush rainforest, appreciating the diverse flora and fauna along the route.
- They reach Mandara Hut (2,700 meters / 8,858 feet) by midday, where they spend the night.
- The entire journey spans approximately four to six hours.

Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut:
- After breakfast, guests continue their ascent towards Horombo Hut (3,720 meters / 12,205 feet).
- Passing through the heather and moorland zones, guests occasionally encounter breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
- The iconic Maundi Crater emerges, offering spectacular panoramas of the plains below.
- Guests settle into Horombo Hut in the late afternoon.
- The trek takes approximately five to seven hours.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut:
- Starting from breakfast, guests traverse the alpine desert zone, ascending to Kibo Hut (4,703 meters / 15,430 feet).
- This area provides ample opportunities to rest, hydrate, and prepare for the final challenge ahead.
- The ascent concludes with Kibo Hut, the last overnight stop before attempting the summit.
- The journey typically lasts between six and eight hours.

Day 5: Summit Day - Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut:
- Early morning starts (around midnight) mark the beginning of the summit attempt.
- Guests navigate through the rugged terrain, including the scree slope.
- Guests reach Gilman's Point (5,681 meters / 18,638 feet), situated atop the crater rim, where they pause to admire the sunrise.
- Continuing upwards, guests reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters / 19,341 feet), the highest peak in Africa.
- At Uhuru Peak, guests have the opportunity to capture memorable photographs and celebrate their accomplishment.
- Post-summit, guests rest briefly at Kibo Hut before descending back to Horombo Hut.
- A brief halt at this location allows for a refreshing break before continuing descent towards Arusha or Moshi.
- Overnight stay at Horombo Hut follows.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate and Departure:
- After breakfast, guests make their way down through the rainforest, reaching the Marangu Gate.
- Completing the check-out process, guests receive their summit certificates.
- Farewell ceremonies ensue, accompanied by a transfer back to Arusha or Moshi.
- Enjoy a well-deserved rest in Arusha or Moshi.
- Overnight stay in Arusha or Moshi concludes the trip.

Day 7: Departure:
- Guests depart from Arusha or Moshi, embarking on their chosen mode of transportation for further travel or returning home.
- The journey concludes with an emotional farewell ceremony and the end of this unforgettable adventure.
