Aerotherapy and the Lori region

The travelers eagerly await their journey to the picturesque city of Stepanavan within the Lori region. Upon arrival, they will have the opportunity to pay homage at the renowned Pushkin Memorial, followed by an invigorating experience in Aeropitherapy. Following this, they will proceed to explore the historic Lori Fortress.

We are currently en route to Stepanavan, a city situated within the Lori region of Armenia. Our itinerary includes traversing through Aparan and Spitak, renowned historical cities of the country. Upon reaching Stepanavan, we shall make a brief detour to pay homage to the Pushkin Memorial, a site where Alexander Pushkin encountered the casket bearing Grigory Petrovich Griboyedov's remains.

Upon completion of our pilgrimage to the Pushkin Memorial, we proceed towards our destination, the therapeutic oasis known as aerotherapy. Aerotherapy is a unique form of treatment utilizing various environmental factors such as temperature, sound, vibration, and the inhalation of essential oils released during the metabolic activities of bees. Unlike traditional beekeeping practices, aerotherapy avoids direct human contact with these creatures, ensuring a safe and effective experience. During this process, bees produce a substantial quantity of phytoncides, enhancing overall health by stimulating the respiratory, cardiovascular, and nervous systems.

Following our aerotherapy session, we commence our exploration of medieval Armenia with a visit to one of its most significant architectural marvels—Lori Fortress. This ancient stronghold stands as a testament to the strategic importance of the area since the 11th century, having been established by King David Ankhokhine in 1005-1020. Located strategically along the Dzoraget and Urut canyons, the fortress offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape while providing ample protection against potential invaders. Its proximity to Stepanavan makes it an ideal starting point for further adventures throughout the region.
