Explore the rich culture of olive oil at Hacienda La Laguna, located in Baeza. The experience includes a guided visit to the Olive Tree Culture Museum, an olive oil tasting workshop, and a tour of an oil mill.
The Olive Tree is undoubtedly the main hallmark of the province of Jaén. The best way to know the essence of its Culture since Antiquity is to visit the Olive Museum. An emblematic place located in a historic 17th century estate.

With the guided tour of the museum you will be able to discover, with the help of a specialized guide, the different spaces of the museum where the garden with more than 30 different varieties of olive trees stands out, the operation of the old original grinding and pressing systems from the end of the century XIX along with other tools and implements of the field. Finally, you can visit “The Cathedral of Olive Oil”, the olive oil mill cellar, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1992.

After the visit to the museum we will carry out an Olive Oil Tasting, in which we will learn to recognize the main organoleptic characteristics of the oils by putting ourselves in the shoes of professional tasters.
