Z V SRL

Explore the vibrant cultural hub of 2023: Brescia and Bergamo, two cities united as one to enhance local identity and offer enriching experiences.

Starting from Milan, our journey continues towards Brescia, the second-largest city within the regional territory. Situated at the foothills of the Alps, approximately a few kilometers away from Lake Garda and Iseo, this historic city boasts a rich artistic and architectural legacy. Its monuments dating back more than three millennia have been designated as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, reflecting the profound influence these sites have had on the development of Italian art and architecture.

Brescia plays a pivotal role in various sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, textiles, chemicals, and food processing, positioning itself as a key economic and productive center in Italy. Notably, the city is renowned for hosting the prestigious Mille Miglia vintage car rally and for producing Franciacorta, a high-quality sparkling wine renowned worldwide.

As the sun begins to set, we embark upon a guided exploration of Bergamo, an ancient city that witnessed rule by Celtic, Longobard, and Roman civilizations throughout the ages. However, the most significant phase of its history was marked by the Venetian Republic’s dominance, which extended for four centuries. This era saw strong ties between Venice and Bergamo, contributing significantly to the enrichment of both cities' cultures.

Our visit commences with a stroll through Piazza Vecchia, the central square of the old town, followed by a leisurely walk amidst historical and religious landmarks. Key attractions include the Palazzo del Comune, the Palazzo della Ragione, the Cathedral, Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colleoni Chapel, and the Baptistery.
