Explore the Ebro Delta birdwatching tour around the Les Olles lagoon and Fangars Bay
Tarragona
We will meet at the indicated time at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L'Ampolla, and from there we will begin this tour in which we will get to know the fauna of the Delta del Ebro Natural Park.
We will follow an environmental educator around the Les Olles lagoon, the smallest in the Natural Park, but which has a significant population of waterfowl. During the tour, we will observe the different species of birds that live in this unique ecosystem. To do this, we will go to the viewpoints that are located around the lagoon to see mallards, egrets, kingfishers and stilts, as well as the majestic flamingos.
We will also take the opportunity to learn about the vegetation of the region, as well as about the rice fields that surround the reserve. In addition, this bird watching experience in the Les Olles lagoon and the Fangar bay, in the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, takes place along the entire coastline. From L'Ampolla to the fishing port of Illa de Mar.
After a journey of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, we will end the tour by returning to the meeting point.
