Full/Half-Day Chengdu Panda Base Private Tour with Options

Upon waking up, your tour guide will commence by signing your name and arranging for a meeting with the hotel lobby at either 07:30 am or 12:30 pm (typically, we recommend the panda tour to take place in the morning, given its higher likelihood of witnessing pandas). Subsequently, you will proceed to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is approximately 15 km away via a 30-minute drive. This base houses an impressive collection of over 80 Chinese giant pandas, including the famous black-and-white varieties, alongside several lesser-known species such as red pandas.

Visitors can observe these creatures engaged in various activities within meticulously designed habitats, ensuring they remain as close to their natural environments as possible. Additionally, the research center educates visitors on the efforts being made by scientists and ecologists to preserve the dwindling wild populations and expand captive breeding programs. Since 1987, the Base has witnessed over 100 births among its bear residents, significantly contributing to the conservation efforts.

Following the panda tour, there is an opportunity to explore additional attractions.
