Day 1: Jungle Walk - Sunset

Starting this adventure from our designated meeting point at 9:30 a.m., we will journey to kilometre 49. Upon reaching this location, we shall traverse through the dense jungle within the vehicle until we arrive at the edge of the river. Thereafter, we will proceed to ascend towards the lodge.

Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by a complimentary beverage and given a concise overview of the accommodations. Following this, we will partake in a light lunch at 1:00 p.m. Post-lunch, we will embark on a guided exploration of the surrounding jungle. Our tour will encompass various medicinal plants and towering trees.

Following our jungle trek, we will ascend to an observation platform measuring 50 meters in height. This elevated vantage point offers breathtaking views of the lush forest below. Additionally, we will be afforded a rare opportunity to witness a diverse array of bird species, including toucans, parrots, and other feathered inhabitants.

As the sun sets, we will conclude our day's activities with a serene evening stroll. During this nocturnal expedition, we will seek out various insect, amphibian, reptile, and mammal species that are typically active during nighttime hours.

Dinner will commence at 7:00 p.m.

Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick

Our second day begins at an earlier time, departing from our starting point at 4:30 a.m. to cover approximately one hour before reaching the renowned Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick. Throughout the journey, we may encounter sightings of wildlife such as jaguars, tapirs, deer, and more.

Upon arrival, we will settle into our accommodation and await the appearance of the majestic macaws. Our knowledgeable guide will provide detailed insights into the birds' habits and behaviors. For dinner, we will dine under the watchful gaze of these magnificent creatures.

The remainder of the day will consist of enjoying a delightful meal prepared with exquisite ingredients sourced locally. Afterward, we will pack up and head back to the city.
