Coral Bay, Ningaloo Reef Swim and Snorkel with Whale Sharks

Depart from Coral Bay to Ningaloo Reef for an approximately 8-9 hour tour aimed at swimming alongside whale sharks. These magnificent creatures are the largest fish species found in oceans worldwide and typically migrate to this area during their yearly breeding season, which occurs between March and June.

Join this 8-9-hour whale shark safari aboard Thunder. This vessel has been meticulously crafted for comfort, featuring ample seating and standing areas both downstairs and upstairs, as well as a panoramic 360-degree view from the wheelhouse. Your tour commences at 7:30 AM. Following a brief bus transfer to the jetty, boarding begins aboard Thunder. Upon departure, commence your first underwater adventure by snorkeling through vibrant coral gardens teeming with an array of colorful fish, reef sharks, and diverse marine life.

Following morning refreshments, your expedition moves towards the outer reef. Spotter planes maintain constant vigilance, communicating updates on any potential sightings of whalesharks or other intriguing aquatic creatures. Throughout the journey, the crew endeavors to maximize wildlife encounters while respecting each animal's natural habitat.

Upon locating a whale shark, Thunder will proceed to the creature’s vicinity. Participants will then be divided into two groups of ten individuals, each taking turns to interact with the majestic whale sharks for up to one hour. This intimate interaction aims to provide an authentic experience of nature's magnificence without disturbing the animals' tranquil environment.

After returning to shore, another reef snorkel awaits at a distinct location. For the evening, indulge in a celebratory toast with a glass of bubbly followed by a sumptuous fruit platter.
