Cradle Mountain, Day Trip from Launceston with Lunch

Please meet your coach at one of the designated pick-up points located within Launceston. Subsequently, proceed with ease towards Cradle Mountain National Park. On arrival, take a leisurely 15-minute scenic drive through Sheffield to witness some of the notable murals scattered throughout this picturesque town.

Travel further onto the Great Western Tiers of the Central Highlands, eventually reaching the Cradle Mountain Visitor Center. Upon arriving here, pause briefly to refresh yourself. Proceed into the national park, where you will embark upon a guided nature walk through the dense rainforests and traverse quartzite beaches.

Next, explore the remnants of the last Ice Age by visiting Glacier Rock. Afterward, continue onwards towards Waldheim Chalet, where you can indulge in a delightful picnic comprising freshly baked rolls, wraps, salads, cheese varieties, and locally sourced meats.

Upon completion of the nature walk, be escorted around the first accommodation established within the national park grounds prior to embarking on a brief forest stroll if conditions permit.
