A dedicated professional tour guide will facilitate your departure from your lodging in Cusco, commencing your journey approximately between 4:00 AM and 4:30 AM. Following a two-hour drive, you will reach Cusipata for a hearty breakfast and purchase essential items such as water and snacks for the expedition ahead.
Upon resuming your adventure, proceed to the trailhead located at 4,850 meters above sea level, where you embark upon a 3.5-kilometer trek towards Rainbow Mountain. Navigate through varying terrains including flat and uphill paths, relishing the awe-inspiring panoramas along the way. Upon reaching the summit at 5,010 meters, allocate ample leisure time to rest and perhaps bask in the panoramic views over Rainbow Mountain.
Subsequently, descend back down to the initial location for an additional hour. Proceed to transport yourself back to Cusipata, where a delightful local lunch awaits you. Post-lunch, continue your journey back to Cusco, arriving within the timeframe of 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Plaza de Armas.
