In Castelo Branco, your designated guide meets you at your accommodation around 9:30 AM. During your three-hour guided tour, you'll explore ancient streets, pass through the 16th-century Stone Doors, which depict a bygone era characterized by stories of value and commerce. You'll learn about the Templar Knights' history, the French invasions in the 19th century, the Jewish presence in the region, and the city's renowned embroidery, "O Bordado de Castelo Branco." As you proceed, you'll marvel at Chapels, the magnificent Sé Cathedral Church, and the welcoming city park, offering insights into the charm of Castelo Branco. This day culminates with a visit to the Museum of Mestre Manuel Cargaleiro Foundation, preserving the legacy of this esteemed artist.
