In this exploration of the Tambopata jungle, one anticipates witnessing an array of diverse wildlife throughout the day and into the night. This journey promises an extraordinary experience that encapsulates both daylight encounters and nocturnal adventures.

In the early hours of Day 1, upon arrival at the bus terminal or airport of Puerto Maldonado, guests will be transferred to the hostel, where they will enjoy a refreshing welcome drink infused with local fruits before settling into our spacious bungalows. A guided introductory walk through the lush vegetation and exploration of insect and wildlife habitats await them.

Following the meal, they will embark on a journey along the Tambopata River. Witnessing the magnificent sunset and embarking on a silent descent in pursuit of elusive alligators and exotic wildlife forms part of the itinerary.

On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, the group will commence their expedition, navigating through the expansive landscape of the Tambopata and Madre de Dios regions towards the entrance of the Tambopata Reserve. Here, they will engage in an engaging activity of approximately three kilometers, during which they can observe an array of birdlife, primates, insects, and ancient tree formations preserved within the reserve's boundaries.

Upon reaching Lake Sandoval, guests will embark on a thrilling voyage aboard a traditional rustic boat. This voyage promises breathtaking views of diverse wildlife including herons, monkeys, parrots, macaws, black alligators, piranhas, and river otters, among others. Additionally, visitors may witness the presence of giant river otters, known for their impressive size—some exceeding two meters in length—and being critically endangered.

As the evening approaches, a communal fire or nocturnal exploration awaits, allowing participants to encounter various species of both insects and birds, nocturnal monkeys, and possibly a spectacular display of stars under clear skies.

On Day 3, the dawn will herald another day of adventure. Guests will set out early in the morning to explore the vibrant flora and fauna of the Tambopata River. They might catch sight of a captivating scene in a clay ravine where hundreds of parrots gather daily to feast on essential minerals needed for survival.

Post-breakfast, a quest for animal sightings will ensue, focusing on intriguing creatures like squirrels, sleepy bears, and fascinating insects. The day concludes with exhilarating experiences such as zip-lining and canopy tours, providing unforgettable encounters amidst towering trees.
