Excursion, Collpa thermal baths and Paqchaccucha waterfall

This tour offers visitors an opportunity to explore the therapeutic properties of the Collpa thermal baths and admire the breathtaking scenery of the Paqchaccucha waterfall within the picturesque Acos Vinchos region.

At 8:00 a.m., we shall convene in the Plaza de Armas of Ayacucho. From there, we shall proceed towards our inaugural destination of the day: the Collpa Thermal Baths.

The Collpa Thermal Baths are cherished by the local populace, who frequent these natural pools to unwind and engage in leisurely activities with loved ones and companions. Throughout our hour-long journey, we shall traverse the picturesque valley of the Acos Vinchos District and observe the rustic dwellings constructed from earth.

Upon arrival at the Collpa Thermal Baths, we shall discover an expansive expanse endowed with mineral-rich surfaces. These unique geological features render the surrounding terrain unsuitable for agricultural pursuits; however, they serve as an exceptional conduit for replenishing underground springs, imbuing their waters with therapeutic qualities.

Following our exploration of the thermal baths, we shall proceed to the Paqchaccucha Waterfall, traversing approximately 15 minutes of serene terrain. Upon reaching this verdant haven, we shall partake in a refreshing dip within its cascading waters.

Lastly, upon our return to Ayacucho, we shall conclude our excursion around 3:00 p.m.
