Team Ohana’s family lesson option is an affordable way to get your family together to help everyone become better bodyboarders. Our family lessons offer that perfect mix of individual attention in a team environment. Everyone improves and everyone has fun. Family lessons require at least one child 12 or younger and one of their parents. Other family members may be added to the lesson. Children 6 or younger may be required to be on a private lesson but will still bodyboard together with their family.
Jump on the Surf School Bus and we will get you from wherever you're staying in Waikiki to the beach and up and riding! We offer a complimentary courtesy shuttle. Our knowledgeable staff will meet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up locations. You’ll be stoked to ride in our air-conditioned, clean, easy-to-spot, white shuttle with our logo on the side. After our friendly staff introduce themselves, we will shuttle you to our Ohana Surf Center located in the Waikiki Beach Marriott. You can also choose to meet us at the Ohana Surf Center as it is a convenient walk from many hotels in Waikiki. From there you will get checked-in, geared up and then will be shuttled to the beach for some Bodyboarding!
Once by the ocean, you will meet your instructor and talk about your previous experience, swimming strength or any other concerns or conditions, then we’ll have you walk your high quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re comfortable and ready, we leash ourselves to the board, put on our fins and into the water we go!
After the lesson, you’ll be taken back to the Ohana Surf Center where you can check out photographs, videos, the work of our cameraman or buy some merch for yourself or friends. Then after your purchases are made, we drive you back to one of our convenient drop off locations, or you can leave straight from there.

-We have 4 set pickup spots in Waikiki and we choose the closest pickup location based on where you are staying in Waikiki. -Students can choose to meet us directly at our shop located in the Waikiki Beach Marriott. -If you are staying outside of Waikiki we will have you check-in directly at our shop. -Please read your confirmation email which will contain the details of your pickup.
