The itinerary commences on Day 1, departing from Arequipa at 8:00 AM, heading towards the picturesque Colca Valley. After an approximately four-hour drive through scenic landscapes, we will make brief detours to Patahuasi, the National Reserve of Salinas, and Aguada Blanca, followed by visits to Patapampa. Here, one can observe Mount Misti, along with camelid species and volcanoes. Upon arrival in Chivay, guests will enjoy a buffet lunch before settling into their accommodations.
Following a brief respite, guests will embark on a journey to the nearby hot springs. This activity is entirely optional; however, admission fees range between $15 USD per person. During the afternoon, visitors may opt to participate in a guided tour showcasing local folklore performances, including dance shows, which precede dinner events hosted in traditional settings.
The evening concludes with a farewell dinner featuring local culinary delights, complemented by captivating music performances. On Day 2, guests are invited to witness the dramatic flight of the Andean condor, accompanied by breathtaking views of the surrounding canyon. Following this spectacle, they will explore various indigenous communities known for their unique crafts and delicacies.
En route back to Chivay, guests may choose to indulge in a leisurely meal at their discretion. The final leg of the journey transports them to the historic port town of Puno, where overnight accommodation is arranged. This concluding segment marks the conclusion of our services, leaving guests well-prepared for future adventures.
