Day 1
Arequipa - Colca Valley
8:00 am. Departure to Chivay in the Colca Valley. In a 4 hours drive from the city, we will make brief stops in Patahuasi, National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca and Patapampa, where you will be able to observe the Misti, Camelids, Volcanoes and thaws.
1:00 pm (approx. time). Arriving in Chivay we will have a buffet lunch and then settle into our accommodation.
A short rest and then we leave for the hot springs.
>> Note: The use of the hot springs is optional, with a cost of S/.15 the entrance.
In the evening we will take you to the dinner with folkloric dances, a pre-dinner show of the area.
Free night and get ready for the next day.
Day 2
Fight of the condor + connection to the lake Titicaca port
5:30 am. Breakfast.
6:30 am. Pick up from the hotel to go to the viewpoint of La Cruz del Condor.
You will have to pay the tourist entrance ticket to the protected valley.
Once there, we will appreciate the flight of the Condor and the depth of the canyon.
Then we will visit different villages around the area where there are handicrafts, typical desserts and other things.
On the way back to Chivay, you will have time for lunch (at your own expense).
We board the tourist transport to Puno, the main port of entry to Lake Titicaca.
7:30 pm. Arrival approx. at the main square of Puno and you will be able to settle in the hostel of your choice.
