From Brasov, Small-Group Brown Bear Watching Tour

Explore the majestic brown bears in their natural environment by visiting the specially designed observation hideaway located within the Transylvanian forest.

Following pickup from the designated meeting point in central Brasov, located in front of the Biblioteca Județeană "George Barițiu" (Bulevardul Eroilor 33-35), participants will proceed to explore the vast Transylvanian forests. The tour commences around 16:00 or 18:00, contingent upon the current month, and drivers will arrive approximately 40 minutes after departure.

Upon arrival within the dense forest, a seasoned forest ranger will lead participants through a guided 20-minute walk to a secluded viewing platform. This vantage point offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, where guests may observe the region's most notable inhabitants—male brown bears weighing up to 750 pounds. These animals, part of the world’s largest carnivores, inhabit the Carpathian region of Romania.

During this observation period, participants will engage with local flora and fauna, including wild boar, deer, and even lynx. Each participant will receive comprehensive insights into the unique characteristics of the area’s natural environment and its diverse species.

Following the tour, participants will return to their original locations in Brasov, ensuring a seamless transition between activities.
