Subsequently, the group sets forth onto the picturesque Rainbow Mountain, navigating along a secondary road that takes them an additional forty-five minutes into the wilderness. Throughout this arduous yet rewarding journey, the team witnesses breathtaking vistas including mesmerizing canyons and verdant glaciers such as the Ausangate Glacier (the largest within the Cusco region).
Upon concluding the last segment of the trail, the participants gather once more. At this juncture, they receive detailed insights from our experienced tour guide regarding the remarkable attractions encompassed within the Rainbow Mountain. Following this informative session, the group is granted ample opportunities to engage in leisure activities, capturing memories and savoring refreshments independently.
Having completed their ascent to the peak, the party proceeds to descend, returning to the communal area of Cusipata for a satisfying meal. Subsequently, the tour concludes with a drive back to the heart of the ancient capital of Cusco. Our vehicles facilitate the journey to either the central district of the city (approximately 4:30 pm) or should the option for a private transfer be selected, direct transport to the designated hotel awaits.
