From Malchow, 5-lake Trip to Waren

Our tour of the Mecklenburg Oberseenplatte commences aboard the MS "Müritz," departing from the town harbor of Malchow adjacent to the swing bridge. Following this initial phase, we navigate towards Waren on Lake Malchow, offering guests an exceptional vista of the picturesque island town.

Proceeding southward along the Fleesensee, we arrive at our midway point near the TUIBLUE. Located within the Fleesensee region and serviced by renowned accommodations such as the Dorfhotel, Schlosshotel, Golf & Robinson-Club, and holiday homes, passengers can embark here for their journey.

Upon returning to the Fleesensee, our route takes us through a canal, eventually reaching the Kölpinsee. Here, amidst the natural beauty, there's a chance to glimpse bison from the Damerow bison enclosure at the very start. In the vicinity lies the historic Kölpinsee residence. Before entering the Eldenburger Reeck, a vital waterway linking the Upper Lake District to the Müritz, we encounter a charming boat charter facility alongside the town of Müritz fishermen.

Continuing along the 2-kilometer-long Idyllic Reeck Canal, passing the Eldenburger See and the flat road bridge, we reach the serene Binnenmüritz, the northernmost stretch of the Müritz. This location features the celebrated Müritzpearl Waren, often referred to as the lighthouse of the lake district, where visitors can marvel at a stunning panoramic view of the old farming town of Waren.

Having arrived in Waren, guests may choose to extend their exploration with a leisurely 2-hour stay to acquaint themselves with the city. Alternatively, they might opt for a direct transfer to the Tschu Tschu train terminal at the pier, followed by a guided city tour or engage in independent shopping and cultural experiences at nearby attractions like the Müritzeum.

Departure from Waren will conclude at 3:15 p.m., sailing back to Malchow via Untergöhren.
