Pyin Oo Lwin, formerly known as Maymyo, is a historic hill station located approximately two hours' drive from Mandalay. Upon waking in the morning, you will depart your accommodation in Mandalay at 7:30 AM and proceed via a scenic route approximately 80 kilometers away towards the picturesque hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin, formerly known as Maymyo. This journey takes around two hours, during which time you'll traverse a winding path through lush floral, fruit, and vegetable gardens. Along this route, you will appreciate the beauty of the surroundings while enjoying the serene environment.

Upon arrival, you will embark upon a delightful tour of the local market, where you can explore traditional brick and timber structures adorned with English-style gables, turrets, and chimneys. Subsequently, take a leisurely ride along the same route, stopping at the mesmerizing waterfall located within the National Kandawgyi Gardens. These gardens were meticulously designed by Sir Harcourt Butler, the former governor of Burma, showcasing vibrant flowerbeds reminiscent of English countryside gardens.
