Upon commencement of the tour, guests will be picked up from their respective hotels at 9:00 AM. Following the pick-up, we shall proceed to the Tambopata National Reserve, where our journey into the heart of the Amazonian rainforest commences. Upon reaching the reserve, an approximately three-kilometer walking trail will await us. Throughout our exploration, guests can expect an immersive experience, observing the diverse flora and fauna native to the region.
Our first destination upon exiting the reserve will be Lake Sandoval, where we plan to embark on a serene canoe ride to better appreciate its natural beauty. This excursion will allow us to encounter various aquatic wildlife, including river otters and black caimans, among other unique species. Post-canoe ride, a leisurely lunch will be enjoyed at a nearby indigenous-owned restaurant, providing an opportunity to savor traditional cuisine.
Following the meal, we will conclude our day's adventure by returning to Puerto Maldonado, anticipated arrival around 5:30 PM.
