Our journey commences at the Plaza Mayor of Trujillo at 10:00 a.m., heading south towards the Campiña Moche region. Here, we will explore the lifestyle and cultural practices of the Campiña Moche people, including their fertility art pieces known as Huacos. Subsequently, we shall proceed to the Cerro Blanco artisanal workshop, where an interactive demonstration of the ceramic production process awaits.
Our itinerary includes a visit to the Huacas de Moche Museum, followed by a trip to the Huacas del Sol y de la Luna archaeological site, which provides insights into the Mochica civilization, one of the pre-Incan cultures. Following these sites, we will embark upon another guided exploration of the Chan Chan Museum, featuring intricate friezes adorning its walls, alongside bird and fish motifs.
The final leg of our tour concludes with a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Huanchaco Beach, offering ample opportunity to browse the vibrant boardwalk and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Upon returning to Trujillo, we will drop off passengers near the Plaza de Trujillo, arriving around 6:30 p.m.
