Our excursion commences at 10:00 am upon departure from the Plaza Mayor of Trujillo. We proceed to the southeastern region of Trujillo, where we explore the fertile Moche countryside, immersing ourselves in its traditional lifestyle and customs. A notable highlight includes witnessing the Huacos of Fertility, followed by an engagement with the artisans at the Cerro Blanco Workshop. Subsequently, we traverse the Museum of the Huacas de Moche, visiting the Huacas of the Sun and the Moon for deeper insights into the Mochica culture, which predates the Inca civilization.
Afterward, we return to the heart of the city, allowing patrons ample opportunity for lunch. Following lunch, our journey continues with a visit to the Chan Chan Museum, where visitors can marvel at intricate friezes adorning the walls, as well as bird and fish sculptures. Our final destination lies along the picturesque Huanchaco Beach, offering leisurely exploration of the boardwalk and surrounding area.
The concluding phase of our tour culminates with our return to Trujillo's Plaza de Toros, scheduled for approximately 6:30 pm.
