Upon reaching the peak of Dimitile, a panoramic vista of the Cilaos Circus unfolds before one's eyes. Below this elevated point lies the "camp marron," a tribute commemorating the enslaved individuals who sought sanctuary within the island's mountainous regions.
Following a leisurely lunch break, we proceed to descend along the picturesque Dubard trail, which consistently presents stunning vistas of the island's southeastern coastline.
