We shall dispatch our vehicle from your accommodation or embarkation point at the harbor, embarking on a journey to Monte Verde within the confines of Monte Verde Natural Park, which spans an expansive area of 3.12 square kilometers. Given its elevated position, Monte Verde enjoys a climate characterized by reduced aridity compared to other regions of the island. This unique environment is home to diverse floral communities, comprising 93 native plant species, among which 17 are listed as critically endangered species due to the predominantly arid and desert-like landscape surrounding Monte Verde. This region is notably shaped by the remnants of an inactive volcanic formation.

Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, we will proceed via automobile along a well-maintained route that transitions seamlessly into a cobblestone path leading towards the summit. Our itinerary includes traversing the terrain both above and below the mountain's peak, offering panoramic vistas over the verdant expanse of Monte Verde. Following our ascent, our guide will be stationed to greet us upon arrival at the summit, whereupon he will lead us back down to the starting point for our return journey.
