Iquitos
DAY 1:1. Transportation by land to Nauta, and from Nauta by boat to our Lodge, we will make a brief stop in the Amazon River, here we can see the pink dolphins.
2. Canoe ride along the river to familiarize ourselves with the jungle and the area where the lodge is located and to look for birds, monkeys and sloths.
3.Visit a native community, here we will have the opportunity to learn and observe their way of living on the banks of the Amazon River.
4.Then we will meet Pablito, the sloth bear grew up with the community from a very young age, since then he has never wanted to leave, he is very affectionate with people, so we can carry him and play with him.
5. Alligator hunting, our guide will take us to remote lakes to find these wild animals.
DAY 2: 1. Walk in the primary jungle to learn about medicinal plants, we will learn about the medicinal plants that locals use to cure diseases,
Then, our guide will give us an experiential class on how to survive in the jungle and how to use what nature itself gives us for our benefit, just as a local person would do.
2.Swim in the Amazon River with the pink dolphins, it is very likely that the pink dolphins will be present very close to us.
3.Finally we will end the day watching the beautiful sunset from our boat.
4. Night walk, in search of anacondas, tarantulas, scorpions, snakes and giant frogs.
DAY 3: 1. We prepare for an all-day adventure, sailing along small rivers until we reach a lake, there we will stay until the afternoon, doing many activities such as fishing and hiking.
2. Sighting of wildlife, monkeys, insects and reptiles, the trails and lakes are the best place to observe Wildlife
3. We will have lunch in the jungle, return to the Lodge, along the way, we will see some other species of monkeys, macaws, toucans and the famous Victoria Regia, the Amazonian orchid.
DAY 4:1. Piranha fishing in the dark rivers tributaries of the Amazon, then we can eat the fearful piranhas that we have caught for lunch!
2.Then a second walk through the jungle to ensure that we have seen the variety of flora and fauna as well as ensuring that we have learned the most important survival techniques, here you will have the opportunity to ask the guide any questions that you have not been able to ask him before.
3.Night boating to look for Boas Constrictors and Anacondas in the tree branches.
DAY 5: 1. Bird watching, to appreciate the sunrise and observe the different species of birds.
2.Stingray fishing, you can ask them to prepare it for your lunch, local people really like it.
3.Our last lunch, before heading home, we have an educational talk about the risks that exist today in the Peruvian jungle, pollution of the Amazon River and how we can do to help reduce these risks.
