Our Outfitter KZ team is delighted to introduce you to a meticulously planned three-day itinerary designed to showcase the diverse landscapes and cultural treasures of the region. Here’s a detailed overview of the tour:

Day 1:

Departure from Almaty leads us to Lake Issyk, where we commence our journey with a leisurely 1 km hike towards the serene waters. Upon reaching the picturesque Bear Falls, prepare for an exhilarating 4 km round-trip trek through lush forests. Following this, we proceed to the ethnos aul Tumar, where accommodation in traditional yurts and a sumptuous meal await. The day concludes with a visit to the Asa Plato Observatory, offering spectacular astronomical views, and a peaceful stroll amidst scenic photography opportunities.

Day 2:

The morning continues with breakfast in Almaty, setting the stage for an awe-inspiring exploration of Charyn Canyon. We embark on a guided descent of a 2.5 km trail, accompanied by photo stops along the way. Post-activity, we relax at the parking lot for a nutritious lunch. Proceeding to Lunar Canyon (Uzynbulak Canyon), we capture panoramic vistas and engage in creative photo shoots. Next, we venture to the Stone Shelf, immersing ourselves in its dramatic beauty and enjoying mesmerizing views of the surrounding landscape. At the end of the day, we revisit the village of Saty by the Kolsai Lakes, admiring the Black Canyon's rugged beauty and concluding our expedition with a stay in a cozy guest house, complete with evening entertainment and relaxation.

Day 3:

The final day begins with breakfast in the guest house, marking the transition into the last leg of our journey. Our route takes us to Lake Kaindy, located approximately 15 km away via a rough dirt road. During the peak seasons, horse rentals are available at the parking lot (not included in the tour cost). Exploring the shoreline and numerous panoramas, we continue our journey to the lower lake Kolsai, where a 2 km walk along the lake’s shores provides ample opportunity for reflection and observation. Following lunch at the guest house, we conclude our tour with a brief stroll along the shore of the lower lake, followed by a memorable ride out of the area and back to Almaty (approximately 300 km).

This comprehensive tour promises an unparalleled experience, combining natural wonders with local culture, ensuring a truly enriching journey across the region.
