The total duration of the itinerary is approximately fifty minutes with a cadence of sixty minutes. The first stop begins at the Plaza de la Constitución, walking along Avenida de Madrid, which features iconic landmarks such as the Bus Station, the Church of Belén and San Roque, and a portion of the Parque de la Concordia. Proceeding to the Paseo de la Estación, adjacent to museums, you'll encounter the Church of Cristo Rey, followed by the Monument to the Battles. Next, traverse the prestigious gardens of the Plaza de la Estación, leading into the historic center.
Starting from the Darymelia Municipal Theatre, proceed through the historic center of Jaén, crossing the Calle Maestra Baja. Visit the headquarters of the School of Arts and Crafts, the back of the Church of San Juan, and ascend to the upper part of the Jewish Quarter. Upon reaching the Arab Baths, explore the largest Arab baths in Spain and the best-preserved in Europe. Then, venture into the oldest quarter of the city, visiting the prestigious Lagarto de Jaén and the primitive church of La Magdalena. Continue your journey towards the prestigious fortress dedicated to Santa Catalina, uncovering breathtaking views of the city and a significant portion of the province.
At the Santa Catalina Castle, enjoy panoramic views from the summit while retracing your steps to continue the tour. Finally, arrive at the Parque del Seminario, before reaching the Cathedral of Jaén, a Renaissance masterpiece designed by Andrés de Vandelvira. Before entering the cathedral, admire the famous street known as Carrera de Jesús, home to the Camarín de Jesús housing the most revered image in Jaén, Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno "El Abuelo." Also, note the unique tower located inside the city, the Torreón del Conde de Torralba, the Convento de Santa Teresa, and the Palacio de los Vizcondes de Los Villares de Jaén, or the Palacio de los Condes de Corbull.
The final destination brings you to the Catedral de Jaén, passing through the Plaza de Santa María, where you'll find the Casa Consistorial, the Palacio Episcopal, and, naturally, the Cathedral with its Neo-classical annex.
