Starting our safari journey from the non-touch jungle region, we embark upon an exclusive jeep safari experience that spans a full day. This activity allows us to engage exclusively in jungle-oriented activities, ensuring a personalized and immersive adventure within the confines of our designated valley, Madi, located across the backdrop of the majestic Chitwan National Park.
Our itinerary commences with a departure from Bagahi, the nearest entrance point, where we will enjoy a leisurely breakfast amidst the lush greenery of the jungle. Should we choose to depart earlier in the morning, our meal will be served within the jungle itself; otherwise, we opt for a home-cooked lunch later in the afternoon.
The safari expedition then unfolds as follows: After reaching the starting point, we proceed towards Sauraha, where another tour group is conducting their safari segment. Following this, we make our way to Jagatpur, continuing our exploration into the heart of the national park. During our stay here, we indulge in a delicious lunch atop the scenic tower, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Our next stop brings us to the Megauli part of the park, where we navigate through the Reu River before finally returning to our base camp. Throughout this journey, we traverse diverse terrains including dense forests, open grasslands, and even areas teeming with wildlife such as tigers, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and various species of deer and antelopes.
To fully immerse ourselves in the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park, we recommend embarking on this safari full-day multiple times. By doing so, one can witness a multitude of animal species—four types of deer, bear, tiger, leopard, elephant, rhino, arna water buffalo, gaur bison, black boar, and numerous others—offering a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
