Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, Kruger national park, South Africa
Experience an unparalleled wildlife expedition during this 3-day, 2-night safari. Delve into Kruger National Park, where you'll have the opportunity to observe diverse species of animals during a sunset game drive. Conclude your journey with a serene morning hike through the park's picturesque landscapes.
On Day 1, our team departs from Johannesburg hotels and guesthouses, as well as O.R. Tambo International Airport, traveling through rural landscapes to reach the picturesque Lowveld region. Proceeding towards the Balule Section of the Kruger National Park, we embark upon a 4-hour sunset drive aboard an open Landcruiser. During this journey, our experienced guides provide insights into various animal and bird species, with spotlight assistance illuminating nocturnal creatures once nightfall descends. Following a leisurely evening at the lodge’s bar or pool, guests can enjoy swimming, relaxation, or simply unwinding amidst lush tropical gardens. Upon returning to camp, we host a memorable bush barbecue under the stars.
For Day 2, starting with a hearty breakfast, we depart from the Kruger Park’s Orpen Area in an open-sided GameViewer, enjoying unparalleled views and photography opportunities due to the elevated terrain and lack of windows. Our knowledgeable guide highlights diverse wildlife, focusing particularly on giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impalas, which attract significant predator populations like lions. Evening concludes with a feast at our luxurious Marula Tree Boma, followed by a thrilling nighttime safari. The next morning, we proceed to the scenic Panorama Route, admiring landmarks such as the Three Rondavels and the Blyde River Canyon before returning to Johannesburg in the late afternoon. Guests may opt for airport pickup arrangements at the end of their stay.
