Jungle trekking + Sandoval Lake

Embark on an exhilarating adventure in Puerto Maldonado, where you will immerse yourself in the natural splendor of the jungle and explore Lake Sandoval up close.

We will meet you at your designated accommodation at the specified time. Subsequently, we shall proceed to the Tambopata National Reserve, which lies approximately ten minutes away.

Upon arrival, we will embark on an expedition into the heart of the southern Amazon rainforest. Are you prepared for this journey? We will traverse a trail measuring about three kilometers in length.

Throughout our adventure, we will encounter various fauna, including monkeys and snakes. As seasoned explorers, we will venture deep into the Amazonian ecosystem, observing macaws and potentially spotting falcons.

Our path will eventually take us to Lake Sandoval, one of the most picturesque spots within the Tambopata National Reserve. Here, we will embark upon a boat tour of Lake Sandoval, during which we shall have the privilege of observing unique aquatic species like river otters and black caimans.

After our excursion along the lake, we shall head back to a nearby local restaurant for a delightful meal featuring grilled chicken, steamed rice, and mushrooms.

Following our hearty meal, we will proceed to Puerto Maldonado, approximately six and a half hours after departing. At this point, we will escort you to your accommodation, ensuring a smooth conclusion to our jungle exploration and Lake Sandoval visit.
