Kang Yatse II, located in Hemis National Park within the vast expanse of arid terrain in Ladakh, stands at an impressive height of 6,250 meters. As one of the highest treks in the region, this peak offers breathtaking views from Day 6 of the trek through Markha Valley. Kang Yatse II’s beauty is unmistakable upon reaching its base, where visitors can marvel at its sheer scale amidst the rugged scree and loose rocks.

Embarking on this journey from Leh, travelers are greeted by stunning vistas along the way. The confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers at Skiu marks the beginning of the trek through Markha Valley.
