You will be picked up at your Nairobi hotel and transported to Kibera Slums. Upon arrival, you will traverse Ngong Road via Uchumi Supermarket before turning left towards the Kibera DO headquarters. Proceed along the main Kibera slum road for approximately three kilometers until you reach Bombolulu Stage. Here, you will begin descending as you enter the bustling Soweto Village, an area comprising various homesteads. Continue onto the Curio (handcrafts) Workshop, where you can observe residents innovatively crafting ornamental items from animal bones. Following this, visit several nursery schools and observe the presence of a water vendor and shower shop. As you move forward, take the right turn near the roadside fishmongers to reach the Biogas Plant, a unique facility utilizing human waste to produce biogas, serving as both cooking fuel and lighting for approximately 200 households when operationalized.
