Plettenberg Bay, Canyoning Trip

Embark on an exhilarating journey through nature by engaging in canyoning activities such as scrambling, floating, swimming, walking, and abseiling. Select either a short or standard itinerary to explore breathtaking landscapes and immerse yourself in thrilling adventures.

Upon arrival at the base camp, participants are provided with essential equipment including wetsuits, harnesses, life jackets, and helmets. Upon readiness, a brief drive leads them towards the commencement of their canyon expedition.

The initial segment begins with an introductory rope course involving a gentler 25-meter abseil descent into the canyon. Following this, participants embark upon their first aquatic journey, initiating with a brief plunge into the river before engaging in a swift swim.

For those seeking adrenaline-pumping experiences, they can opt for cliff-jumping activities ranging from approximately 7 meters to just above the water level, offering diverse opportunities depending on individual comfort levels.

Subsequent activities involve continued swimming and hiking downstream along the river. At this juncture, visitors encounter The Rush—a waterfall abseil experience, complemented by seasonal controlled zip-lining over the waterfall. Subsequently, participants continue their journey through the river, culminating in another exhilarating feat: a 55-meter zip-line crossing over a waterfall, plummeting into the river below.

Upon completing the adventurous escapade, participants are promptly picked up from the departure point and escorted back to the base camp. Here, they enjoy a refreshing hot shower and retrieve their photographs capturing the essence of their canyon expedition.
