La Caravedo Hacienda Visit

In this guided tour of the hacienda of La Caravedo, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the renowned distillery and enjoy relaxation at the pool area. Additionally, a delightful lunch is included as part of the package.

Guided Tour of La Caravedo Hacienda

Starting our tour of La Caravedo Hacienda at 10:00 am, we will begin our journey at the main entrance, situated on the outskirts of Ica.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, which includes a chilcano soft drink for adult participants and a juice option for children. Following the initial reception, we will commence our tour of the historic distillery, which dates back to 1684.

Our first stop will take us through the original installations, including the wine press, pressing machinery, and falcas used for producing pisco during its early years. Next, we will proceed to the more contemporary sections of the distillery, where we will observe how modern technologies are utilized to craft this beloved Peruvian beverage.

Continuing our exploration, we will move into the stables of La Caravedo, where an array of equine species will captivate visitors' attention. These include Peruvian jumping horses, ponies, alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks, and guinea fowls.

Following the inspection of the stables, guests may enjoy a refreshing dip in the hacienda's swimming pool, equipped with a range of amenities for comfort. Post-swimming, we will conduct a tasting session featuring two internationally acclaimed gold-medal winning pisco varieties.

To conclude our culinary experience, we will serve a sumptuous lunch prepared daily, offering a selection of three-course meals accompanied by a Chilcan soft drink or soft drink. Guests are encouraged to replenish their energy before enjoying the remainder of their stay at the hacienda until 6:00 pm.
