Ljubljana, Savica Waterfall, Lake Bohinj, and Lake Bled Tour

Experience Slovenian nature by exploring the Savica Waterfall, Lake Bohinj, and Lake Bled during a journey originating in Ljubljana. This itinerary includes hiking to the country’s premier waterfall and leisurely strolls through two of its most picturesque glacial lakes.

Guide will meet at Dragon Bridge in Ljubljana early in the morning. Departure from the bridge leads to Savica Waterfall, situated within the National Park Triglav. Upon arrival, visitors will proceed on a moderate hiking trail to Savica Waterfall.

Proceeding further into the national park, follow marked paths as they lead to an impressive view of the unique waterfall. Following this, continue to Lake Bohinj. Here, guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the serene waters, taking in the breathtaking mountain views.

Post lunch, depending on availability, guests may opt to dine at a local restaurant recommended by their guide. Sample dishes such as jota stew, porridge, Bohinj sausage, dry Bohinj meat, cheese, and strudel are available during this time.

Following lunch, venture to Lake Bled. Guests may choose to embark upon a hike to Mala Ojstrica Hill, wander along the shores of Lake Bohinj, explore Lake Bled Castle, or even paddle across the lake to its central island. Additional activities require additional payment.

Upon completion of these excursions, return to Ljubljana via car.
