Departing from our town office, transportation to the base of Mount Tekapo is a quick 10-minute drive away.
Mount Edward
Prepare to conquer the heights as you journey from 1100 meters to 1989 meters above sea level on the Mount Edward hike. Offering a more challenging terrain and unparalleled panoramas, this hike promises an exhilarating experience for seasoned hikers. Departing from our town office, a 30-minute 4WD drive will transport you to the base of Mount Edward.
Mount Ardmore
Traverse the rugged terrain from 900 meters to 1916 meters above sea level on the Mount Ardmore Exploration. With its remote wilderness and stunning vistas, this hike provides a true escape into the high country. Departing from our town office, a 40-minute 4WD drive will take you to the base of Mount Ardmore.
