See over 170 pandas from tiny pink newborns to giants which reach up to 1.5 meters tall. Admire the adorable panda babies running around their play enclosures, laying in the pool, or climbing the trees. Next, head over to the historic Leshan Buddha located is 2.5 hours away along the expressway. Stop for a quick lunch, then discover the world's largest sitting Buddha statue which is about 71 meters high crafted out of a cliff face. If the situation allows, the guide will take you for a closer look at the Buddha's head and feet. Find out more about Buddism and local beliefs in the Lingyun Temple next to the Giant Buddha.
