Lima, Excursion to Lunahuaná and Cerro Azul

We will combine adventure and cultural tourism on this excursion to Lunahuaná and Cerro Azul. With a rafting experience on the Cañete River and tasting of the wines and honey they make there.

Between 5:00 and 6:20 a.m., we will pick you up at the different meeting points located in Lima. Aboard a minibus, we will head south until we reach the city of Mala, where we will stop for breakfast after a two-hour road trip.

We will continue traveling towards Cerro Azul and we will leave you about two hours of free time to get to know this lively district. You can walk through its streets full of craft shops, go to its beach, tour its famous pier... You will love it!

After taking fantastic photographs of the area, we will continue the excursion going to Lunahuaná. Are you ready for the adventure? We will put on our helmets and equip ourselves with everything necessary to practice rafting on the Cañete River. Pure adrenaline rush!

After the excitement experienced aboard the rafts, we will return to the mainland and take a guided tour of Lunahuaná. We will visit its plaza, its church and we will go up to a natural viewpoint where we will have an incredible view of the entire Cañete valley. After the city tour, we will leave you an hour so you can eat.

In the afternoon, we will go to the La Reina de Lunahuaná winery to learn about the laborious work they do to produce delicious wines and piscos. You can even taste them! Nearby, we will also visit a bee farm that will allow us to delve into the tradition of honey production. Do you want to try it? It's delicious!

We will finish the excursion arriving in Lima at approximately 9:00 p.m.
