Machu Picchu, 1-day tour by Expedition or Voyager train

In the early hours of the morning, guests will be collected from their accommodations in Cusco at 04:00 AM and transported to the Ollantaytambo train station via car. This journey typically takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes; however, if departing from Poroy, the drive would shorten to around 30 minutes, necessitating a 3.5-hour train ride. Once arriving at the Ollantaytambo train station at 06:10 AM, passengers will board the train bound for the historic town of Aguas Calientes.

Upon reaching Aguas Calientes at approximately 07:30 AM, the local travel agency representatives will greet the guests and provide comprehensive guidance before proceeding to the nearby bus terminal. Here, they will embark upon a scenic 30-minute bus journey through picturesque landscapes, including stunning mountains, rivers, and streams, as well as appreciating the diverse flora and fauna characteristic of the region surrounding Cusco.

Arriving at the base of the Inca Citadel of Machupicchu, guests will be required to present valid identification and purchase tickets prior to entry. A knowledgeable guide awaits them to commence an enlightening tour of the site. During the approximately two-hour exploration, guests will immerse themselves in the rich historical and cultural significance of Machupicchu.
