Machupicchu Full day tour, by train vistadome

This itinerary provides an enriching journey featuring a comfortable travel experience through panoramic windows along the route leading to Machu Picchu. During this excursion, visitors can appreciate traditional dances and savor local Andean delicacies aboard the train.

Upon waking in the morning, we shall rendezvous at the hotel in Cusco at 06:30 AM. Following this, we will commence our journey by transporting you to the Ollantaytambo train station (a car trip duration of approximately 2 hours).

Upon arrival at the station of Ollantaytambo or Poroy, you will proceed to board the train bound for Machu Picchu Town (approximately 3-hour journey if departing from Poroy or 1 hour and 45 minutes if leaving from Ollantaytambo). During this journey, you will experience breathtaking vistas, an opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna, and the exclusive use of the Vistadome Train's panoramic windows, offering expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Upon reaching Aguas Calientes (the historic town of Machu Picchu), our team will be ready to assist you in navigating the necessary procedures and facilitating access to the bus terminal. From there, you will embark on a scenic route that will lead you to the mountainous region where Machu Picchu is situated.

Upon exiting the bus, you will proceed to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you will be required to present your tickets along with relevant identification documents. Our expert guide will then conduct a comprehensive tour of the citadel, covering key areas including the Main Enclosure, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, and the Royal Quarters. This guided exploration promises to reveal the rich historical significance and awe-inspiring beauty of this ancient site.

During the tour, guests will have ample opportunity to capture their memories and marvel at the profound spiritual essence that permeates Machu Picchu. The tour concludes after approximately 2-3 hours, allowing ample time to photograph every detail of this magnificent location.

Following the completion of the tour, you will catch the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you may choose to indulge in a meal at one of the local eateries. For those desiring lunch, the price of admission includes the cost of the lunch. We recommend arriving at 17:00 PM for departure; however, the exact timing will depend on the availability of trains and other factors.

Upon returning to Aguas Calientes, our dedicated staff will be awaiting your arrival to transport you to the City of Cusco. Your transit to Cusco will conclude around 20:30 PM, subject to the availability of trains.
