This facilitates acclimatization and provides an opportunity to experience the breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage of the region through the trail.
Day 1: Departure from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (710m), followed by a scenic drive through rural landscapes alongside the Trishuli River.
Day 2: Travel from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (900m), traversing dense forested areas and villages along the Budhi Gandaki River.
Day 3: Proceed from Machha Khola to Jagat (1410m), passing through picturesque villages inhabited by Gurungs and Magars, and crossing suspension bridges over the river.
Day 4: Continue from Jagat to Deng (1804m), exploring lush greenery and encountering waterfalls and Mani walls.
Day 5: Head from Deng to Namrung (3530m), where one can enjoy panoramic views of the Siring Himal range while trekking through villages such as Bihi.
Day 6: Journey from Namrung to Samagaon (3860m), walking through verdant forests and ascending to this remote location, which offers an unobstructed view of magnificent peaks.
Day 7: Spend an acclimatization day at Samagaon; rest, explore the village, and visit nearby monasteries or undertake brief hikes for better acclimatization.
Day 8: From Samagaon to Samdo (3860m), hike through captivating landscapes, showcasing stunning vistas of Manaslu.
Day 9: Ascend from Samdo to Dharamsala/Larkya Phedi (4460m), aiming to reach the Larkya La Pass, known for its dramatic mountain views.
Day 10: After reaching Dharamsala/Larkya Phedi (5160m), cross the challenging Larkya La Pass, enjoying spectacular mountain scenery before descending to Bhimthang.
Day 11: Descend from Bhimthang to Tilije (2300m), trekking through rhododendron forests, passing by picturesque landscapes.
Day 12: Trek to Tal and return to Kathmandu, completing the journey after driving back to the city.
