Our journey commences with an exploration of the Roman Theater and Amphitheater (located within), underscoring their pivotal role in Roman societal life. Subsequently, we proceed to uncover the enigmatic "headless" statues of the Portico of the Forum, while marveling at the grandeur of the Temple of Diana.
Following this, we will visit the Santiaguista Convent, currently functioning as the seat of the Presidency of the Junta de Extremadura. This landmark is flanked by the Arab Alcazaba, from which we then traverse to admire the Guadiana River.
Upon arrival on the banks of the Guadiana, we conclude our tour by appreciating the exterior architecture of the Alcazaba, the Capitoline Wolf, the Roman Wall, and the Roman Bridge—considered one of the longest in the entire Iberian Peninsula.
