Our journey begins with our first stop at Mirepoix, an enchanting medieval village dating back to the 10th century. This charming town features a large central square surrounded by a magnificent covered arcade constructed using half-timbered houses supported by sturdy wooden pillars.

Following this, we proceed to visit the historic Château de Montségur, where the final battle against the Cathars took place in the 13th century. Our itinerary includes a leisurely lunch, allowing us ample time to savor the local delicacies. A short hike lasting approximately one hour and forty-five minutes offers scenic views along the route.

Our next destination is a serene stroll through the picturesque village of Camon, situated amidst the breathtaking landscapes of France. Known as one of the most beautiful villages in the country, Camon boasts a rich history dating back to the 10th century when it was established around a Benedictine abbey. Its numerous rose trees add a fragrant charm to the streets, creating a delightful ambiance throughout the year.
